Strong in form and architectural in presence, this vessel balances structural simplicity with angled contours and considered surface detail.
Gryt is a sculptural piece designed to stand alone as a statement object or serve a functional purpose, holding a small candle, potted plant or displayed on your desk to hold pens & pencils.
It has been hand-formed using dark, textured clay and finished with highlights of clear gloss glaze, which accentuates the speckled nature of the clay. The interior base is glazed and it is watertight.
